Soaring Spirit Sunday

Soaring Spirit Sunday

Whether you believe your week starts on Sunday or not, it’s always a great option to make it a Soaring Spirit Sunday.

Now, it’s not my place to ask about or place limits or conditions on your personal spiritual beliefs, but I’ll give what seems like a reasonable way to set up a great week, and you’re free to adjust it, ignore it or embrace it to your heart’s content.
You may see Sunday as a day of rest before lurching back into battle during the week, a strategic day to prepare for a fantastic week or merely a day to dress up, listen to lectures and mouth a few hymns before putting your regular life back on like a comfy coat on a winter night.

Watch Mr. Bean singing Hallelujah

Or perhaps you’re one of the rare ones who lives by high principles every moment of every day, always aligning your spirit with the power in the Creator, living moment by moment by the code of the most holy.  If so, thanks for reading this and please gently correct me where I may have run astray.

So, wherever you are on the spectrum, I submit that you can completely change your life by consciously applying a simple principle.

Start with prayer. I suppose you could say this is great advice for any day, event, or moment.  There’s no need to make this a drawn out affair, just clearly describe your desire or aim and then ask that it be blessed.

Once connected, be thankful and truly allow that power to light your spirit.

I happen to believe that spirit lives within you, no matter you are, whatever you’ve done and whatever you believe in.

Then infuse your every act, however minor or trivial they may seem, with that spirit and then go into your next moment, next day, and the rest of the week  with that power within and extending throughout.

So, in that spirit, I’m investing my planning for the week with all of the glory of #SoaringSpiritSunday

Prince of Phun One hardly knows where to start...One’s history is a matter of public record and the historians will do with it what they will...and yet, one finds it necessary to correct the coarser parts and provide minor corrections...My royal birth was obscured from me for ages and I grew up, as did many of you, believing that royal blood flowed not in my veins. Through the trials of education, university and into the legions with cousin Henry, namesake of the stirring we few..we band of brothers fame, I was tested by the tantalizing allure of fame, success, wealth and a sense of purpose. And as noblesse oblige, one must take the path that is his to walk...And so I find myself in the Court of Comedy, bantering with the Baron of Bellylaughs, the Duke of Double Entendre and the Viscount D’Mirth as we live up to our royal heritage and give you our perspective on living up to the name handed down by your forebears.

Although I forget sometimes, my days always seem to flow more smoothly when I start with a clear prayer of thankfulness and placing my problems in His capable hands. It’s only when I try to pretend that I’m captain of the ship that my struggles amplify. Thank you for your thought-provoking post.
